The foundations of MSB Automotive were laid in 1987, when Sabahattin Başmıhçılar, father of Muhammet Semih Başmıhçılar, received his master craftsman certificate and opened his first 500 m² business, starting out in the automotive sector.
Oto Semih began operating on a 2,000 m² site in Hendek on 6 December 2011. This step became one of the key milestones in the growth journey that leads to today’s MSB Automotive.
In 2017, a 3,500 m² brake service and spare parts branch opened in Sakarya. In 2019, a new 2,000 m² warehouse was commissioned in Modern Sanayi, expanding storage capacity.
On 1 June 2021, a 3,000 m² warehouse opened in Erenler. With adjacent warehouses added to the facility year after year, the storage area grew step by step to 10,000 m² of covered space with racking systems. In the same year, a 2,000 m² warehouse and branch opened in İzmir, expanding the distribution network.
On 1 April 2022, the 3,500 m² head office and warehouse in Bekirpaşa began operating. With the new headquarters, management, storage and operations were brought together under a stronger structure.
On 1 April 2024, a new branch opened in İstanbul FinansKent. With this new 150 m² location, MSB Automotive strengthened its presence in İstanbul.
On 5 July 2024, a new 2,500 m² warehouse opened in Mersin. This investment expanded MSB Automotive’s storage and distribution network and increased its operational strength in the Mediterranean Region.
On 1 August 2024, an 8,000 m² production facility was commissioned in Sakarya 1st Organized Industrial Zone. Following preparations and investments, the facility carried out its first production run on 1 November 2024. With this step, MSB Automotive combined its sales and distribution strength with manufacturing capability and entered a new era.
As of 1 March 2026, MSB Automotive’s US project and warehouse operations went live. With this step, the company took the manufacturing and distribution strength it built in Türkiye to international markets, opening a new chapter in its global growth journey.
